1. Location & Social Impact
DIVI Group’s biomass power plant is located in
Phuoc Minh Commune, Bu Gia Map District, Binh Phuoc Province,
one of the province’s most disadvantaged areas.
Once in operation, the project will contribute to
improving local socio-economic conditions and create
a large number of jobs across the biomass fuel supply chain,
plant operations, and related supporting services.
2. Scale & Core Technology
The plant has a grid-connected capacity of 10 MW and applies
circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler technology to efficiently
utilize renewable fuels such as wood chips and
cashew nut shells.
The project is designed to produce clean energy while
reducing CO₂ emissions, in line with DIVI Group’s sustainable
development strategy.
3. Operating Principle
The operating system employs CFB boiler technology, enabling
efficient and stable combustion of biomass fuel and maximizing
thermal efficiency.
High-pressure steam is directed to a condensing steam turbine,
where thermal energy is converted into electricity, thereby
optimizing power generation efficiency and system stability.
4. Cooling System & Water Source
After passing through the turbine, steam is cooled via a
cooling tower system, ensuring stable and long-term plant operation.
Make-up water is supplied from Thac Mo Lake (Binh Phuoc Province),
which covers thousands of hectares, providing a reliable and
sustainable water source.
5. Role in Sustainable Strategy
This biomass power plant is a key component of DIVI Group’s
clean energy development strategy. The use of biomass fuel helps to:
- Provide stable electricity supply to the national grid
- Reduce dependence on fossil fuels
- Lower greenhouse gas emissions
6. Long-term Commitment
Through this project, DIVI Group reaffirms its commitment to
developing clean, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions,
contributing to global efforts in climate change mitigation and environmental protection.
